Meet Tammy...
Tammy Murphy is founder and president of Azalea Blooms Corporate and Private Events, Ltd. She has been producing timeless, dreamy weddings and very special corporate and private events since 2011.

Tammy grew up in Ponchatoula and loves to embrace the small town sensibilities where possible. First a child Day care owner in Mandeville, then while traveling the United States for Chevron Corporation. Her interest in creating the perfect layout of businesses took her to bridal attending at a local event venue, thus deepening her passion for the art of event planning to founding her own company.
 
Tammy opened her own Corporate and Private Events venue in 2019 in downtown Ponchatoula and has been planning stunning events along with her team for over 16 years. She has been recognized by her peers and in press, TV and radio appearances for her extensive vision and creativity tempered with a sharp eye for all the details. Tammy is passionate about family, events, dance and photography. She is a foodie, loves a well-mixed cocktail, and sure knows her wines. Tammy has an exceptional talent with color and design and collaborates well with the best in the business.  She loves nothing more than selecting the finest team for each client's taste and budget range and keeping everyone on track. “An event is like a live life moment  without a dress rehearsal” says Tammy!
